Miles & Stockbridge Represents OGSystems in Divestiture of TASER Business to Ball Aerospace
Miles & Stockbridge P.C. is pleased to announce that it has advised OGSystems, LLC (OGSystems) on the divestiture of its TASER business to Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., a subsidiary of Ball Corporation (NYSE: BLL). The transaction closed on January 24, 2013, followed by the U.S. Government’s approval of the novation of the TASER contract in early February 2013. Miles & Stockbridge served as OGSystems’ legal counsel, and Houlihan Lokey served as OGSystems’ financial advisor.
OGSystems provides mission-critical services to the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community in support of the national security, intelligence, defense and healthcare missions. TASER (Total Application Services for Enterprise Requirements) is a prime contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) requiring high-end mission analysis, IT services and systems and software integration and engineering support.
